2. B.J. Finney (Age: 28)

As I mentioned, the Bears need depth on their offensive line. B.J. Finney would help with that. He’s played every position on the interior part of the offensive line so he’d be able to help wherever the Bears need it.

Additionally, the Bears have an experiment with Bradley Sowell. They are trying to convert him into a tight end. Well, turns out that Finney already has tight end experience so he can play that position in a pinch.

With his flexibility, Finney has been the Steelers’ top reserve on the offensive line. He could be ready to try a starting gig and should compete for one in Chicago. Bars is the one player on the roster who will compete for the starting job. Then there will be the draft prospect and Finney if he signs. Whatever happens, the depth on the line should be better in 2020.

Over the course of the last four seasons, Finney had 13 starts. He’s started at left and right guard and center. In those games, the Steelers were 11-2. The line as a whole with him as the starter gave up 22 sacks. Additionally, he played in 100 percent of the offensive snaps in ten of those games.

The Chicago Bears would get a very motivated player in Finney. He’s worked hard to get where he is and he’ll work even harder to go further.
