4. 878. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Michael Ojemudia. Cornerback. Iowa. player

Cornerback inherently is an extremely important position to address and fill on the field. But it’s also a hard position to scout and project for as well, which is why I believe it is smart for teams to spend multiple draft picks at the position.

Ojemudia won’t be a shutdown man cornerback and won’t be a press-man corner. He doesn’t have fluid hips and won’t stick with guys down the field. What he can do, however, is excel in zone coverage.

When Ojemudia is in zone, he can track the ball at a high level and has great instincts as well. Kristian Fulton, who the Broncos selected earlier in this mock draft, is still no slouch in zone coverage. But having Ojemudia complement Fulton with his zone coverage ability would serve the Broncos well.

Other Players available: Jordan Elliott, Logan Stenberg, Harrison Bryant.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Wide Receiver. Jauan Jennings. player. 839. Tennessee. 4

While the Broncos already have two receivers in this mock draft, Jauan Jennings has a special talent that most receivers do not. Jennings is solid at many things with fine downfield speed, though he’s not a true burner. He’s also an okay route runner but often doesn’t cut hard out of his breaks and also has just okay hands. After the catch, however, Jennings is dangerous.

When the ball ends up in Jennings’s hands, it’s so hard to take him down. His ability to make guys miss is the major thing that makes him stand out from all the other receiving prospects in this draft. Adding Jennings to this Broncos roster would give them a guy who can create on his own after the catch and help give Drew Lock some extra support.

Other Players Available: Trey Adams, Bryan Edwards, Trajan Bandy
