1. Los Angeles Chargers

As soon as the 2019 season came to an official end for the Los Angeles Chargers, the speculation immediately started over whether Philip Rivers would officially be done with the team after all these years.

With all due respect to Rivers since the veteran certainly provided plenty of great seasons with the Chargers over the years, 2019 made it clear he was on the decline.

Now that Los Angeles has made their plans of moving on from Rivers official, the next question becomes which quarterback takes over under center as his replacement.

Whether it happens to be through free agency or the draft in April, the good news for the Chargers is no matter who the Chargers end up deciding to go with as their replacement for Rivers, they will be part of an offense loaded with talent.

If Winston were looking to sign with a team looking for a quarterback with starting experience, and a legitimate shot at earning a trip to the playoffs next season, the Chargers may be his best bet.

Winston’s turnovers are obviously going to continue to be a concern until he can prove otherwise, but if a fresh start in Los Angeles helps fix the issue, a signing like this could help the Chargers return to the playoffs after watching this past season from home.
