2. Jedrick Wills, OT, Alabama

In terms of addressing the Browns’ need at tackle, it came down to Jedrick Wills or Mekhi Becton at this spot. However, Wills has better mobility and could be more of a force as a pass-blocker while simply being a more polished tackle overall.

Wills was exceptional at right tackle in his two starting seasons at Alabama. There are concerns on whether or not he can transition to the left side but that feels like nitpicking for the sake of it given the skills and physical traits that Wills put on film in his time with ethe Crimson Tide. He does not have the same size as Becton but he is far from a small man.

For me, Wills is the No. 2 tackle in the 2020 NFL Draft and would be an immediate upgrade for the Cleveland offensive line.

1. Andrew Thomas, OT, Georgia

Andrew Thomas is the No. 1 offensive lineman in the 2020 NFL Draft by my estimation. He has all the intangibles that teams look for in a young, high-level offensive tackle prospect. Everything is there for him — strength, size and ability — and it all screams that Thomas is an elite-level talent.

He still has some room for improvement with his footwork and has not yet reached his full potential. There is some doubt on whether or not he will be available at the No. 10 spot for the Browns. However, if there is a worry that he won’t fall that far, the Browns could do as we previously discussed and move up for Thomas.

Drafting Thomas would be a game-changer for the Browns, especially for the development of Baker Mayfield. Keeping him protected will be a big factor in how this offense runs in the 2020 season and beyond.
