. Cornerback. New York Giants. Jeffrey Okudah. 4. player. 31

Speaking of great defenders from Ohio State, Jeffrey Okudah most likely won’t need to wait long for his name to be called after Chase Young since the Buckeyes star is expected to be one of the first cornerbacks taken in the upcoming draft.

As previously mentioned, Ohio State has seen plenty of great defenders selected in the first round over the last couple of years that found ways to make immediate impacts, and Okudah should be able to join that list before he knows it.

From impressive skills in man coverage to his athletic ability, it wouldn’t take much to convince the New York Giants how great of a pick Okudah would be at No. 4 if available.

In each of the last two drafts, the Giants have managed to strike gold in the first round by focusing on offense with selections of Saquon Barkley (2018) and Daniel Jones (2019).

With the amount of potential surrounding this duo, New York’s offense seems like it will be in greatp shape for years to come, but unfortunately the defense still needs a bit of work.

Adding someone like Okudah to the mix isn’t going to solve all the issues for the Giants, but it will certainly be another step in the right direction.
