player. 32. . Wide Receiver. Arizona Cardinals. Jerry Jeudy. 8

Around this time last year, the Arizona Cardinals were weighing the possibility of replacing Josh Rosen with Kyler Murray since they were in position to upgrade with the top overall pick.

For obvious reasons, it’s easy to understand why the Cardinals took a bit of criticism since this would mean Arizona selected a quarterback in the first round two years in a row during the draft, but also Murray was clearly an upgrade over Rosen.

Like most rookies, Murray struggled in a few key areas that will hopefully improve over time, and while the Oklahoma product has a few key weapons to work with at the moment, there’s still plenty of room for improvement.

In order for the Cardinals to help Murray reach new levels, it’s up to Arizona to build a better offense around their young quarterback, which is where Jerry Jeudy could come into play.

Watching Jeudy dominate the SEC over the last two years the way he did as a member of Alabama makes it clear the wideout is ready to make the leap to the NFL, and his ability as a route runner could work wonders for the Cardinals.

Plus, what would make a move like this even more exciting for Arizona is when seeing how young Murray and Jeudy are, the two would have the opportunity to develop for years to come.
