4. New York Jets

Prior to the 2018 season, the New York Jets were in desperate need of help at the quarterback position before deciding to use a first-round pick on Sam Darnold.

Based on the last two seasons, Darnold has made it clear that he is still a work in progress like most young quarterbacks in the league, but potential wise, the Jets have plenty of reasons to be excited about what the future holds.

With that being said, just because Darnold has shown potential doesn’t necessarily guarantee that he will be successful in New York since the former USC star could still use some additional weapons to work with on offense.

Adding Le’Veon Bell to the mix last offseason was another great step for the Jets, but wide receiver could still end up being an issue, especially if Robby Anderson joins another team in free agency.

If New York were to end up adding Lamb to the picture, this would give the young wideout the perfect opportunity to develop with another young quarterback in Darnold for years to come.

Due to the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills along with the Miami Dolphins ending 2019 on a hot note, the Jets will need all of the extra help possible next season. And if Lamb becomes part of the offense, it will certainly put New York in better position to compete.
