1. Las Vegas Raiders
To say the Las Vegas Raiders are feeling the pressure entering their first year in a new city would be a huge understatement when seeing how this team has struggled to live up to the high expectations over the last two years.
Part of the reason behind the hiring of Jon Gruden in the first place was to help the Raiders return to the level of being a top contender in the AFC, and while there have been a few impressive times, it simply hasn’t been enough.
By now, Gruden with all of that money he’s making should have Las Vegas as one of the top teams to beat in the AFC entering the 2020 season, and to top it off, there have been questions over whether Derek Carr is even the right fit for the offense.
Carr is another situation in which it’s difficult not to wonder what could have been if for the quarterback on offense if the Raiders decided to keep Amari Cooper around instead of trading him to the Dallas Cowboys in the middle of the 2018 season.
Would Carr feel better about the previous Cooper situation if the Raiders were to end up going with Lamb in the first round of the draft?
Even if it took a little bit of time for Lamb to get used to playing on the NFL level, this could be worth it in the long run for Las Vegas.
