An issue with the Packers offense that has been pointed out plenty of times is the lack of weapons in the passing game for Rodgers to work with outside of Davante Adams. They have a litany of big-bodied, young wide receivers but none have emerged as consistent threats alongside Adams. That must be addressed in the 2020 NFL Draft with young, dynamic weapons that can open up Matt LaFleur’s offense.

That’s why K.J. Hamler, falling to Green Bay at No. 62, is the easy choice here. While small at 5-9, 176 pounds, his speed and quickness are near-unmatched in the 2020 NFL Draft class. He has the ability to win down the field and in short areas to break big plays. His skills and what he does well perfectly accent Adams and the rest of the Pack’s pass-catchers and really help take the offense to new heights.

What the Green Bay Packers do with Bryan Bulaga, their longtime right tackle who’s now set to hit free agency in 2020, is going to be one of the sneakiest subplots for the franchise this offseason. When healthy, Bulaga has been a stud from the moment he got to Green Bay. But at 31 years old now, his health has been concerning and he won’t be getting any younger. Thus, they could either sign him to a short-term deal or let him walk.

No matter the direction the Packers decide to go, they need to find a replacement for Bulaga moving forward. Ben Bartch may have played at a quite small school in St. John’s in Minnesota but he has near limitless potential as an offensive tackle prospect. He was a standout in Mobile at the Senior Bowl and continued to see his stock rise. His polished technique and mobility along with a great frame to add muscle to should help him become the future on the edge for Green Bay.
