2. Demarcus Robinson (Age: 26)

A good fit for the Chicago Bears is Demarcus Robinson. Bears head coach Matt Nagy is an Andy Reid disciple so Robinson should be familiar with what Nagy wants. Also, he was in Kansas City when Nagy was the offensive coordinator for the Chiefs so he knows the coach.

Robinson has played well for the Chiefs considering all the other high-profile receivers they have. He played behind Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins but still managed to make 54 catches for 737 yards and eight touchdowns over the past two seasons.

Hill missed the first four weeks of the 2019 season and Robinson played well in his absence. In those four games, he made 16 catches for 281 yards and three touchdowns. The Bears could use that production on their offense.

In Chicago, Robinson could have a bigger role. Kansas City has a plethora of receivers and didn’t have enough footballs for everyone. With the Bears, he’ll be a bigger part of the offense. Defenses will have to account for him, clearing space for the other receivers. Add in a dependable tight end and this could be one good offense.

Picking up Robinson could allow the Bears to look further down the draft for a receiver. This receiving class is very deep so a good one could be had in the middle or late rounds. They have other, more pressing needs they have to use with the earlier picks. Additionally, Robinson is young and healthy enough (hasn’t missed a game in his four career seasons) to be a big part of the offense for years to come.
