It’s time to have a little fun with a 7-round 2020 mock draft for the Minnesota Vikings if they were to move on from Stefon Diggs this offseason.

Could this finally be the offseason in which the Minnesota Vikings finally decide to move on from Stefon Diggs through a trade or release? Despite the recent talk surrounding the Vikings possibly moving on from Diggs this offseason, nothing is set in stone at the moment since one can only imagine how difficult a decision this is for Minnesota.

But at least if the Vikings were to move on from the speedster after five seasons, there will be plenty of potential replacements to consider in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft.

In fact, with all of the excitement surrounding the talent at wide receiver for April’s draft, if Minnesota were to pull a trade involving Diggs, this offseason seems like the perfect time to do so.

Obviously, it would be difficult to claim that a potential wideout from this year’s draft class is on the same level as Diggs since playing in the NFL is completely different from the college level, and most upcoming rookies will need some time to develop.

However, the only way Minnesota will ever find out about the potential surrounding certain prospects at wide receiver is by giving them a chance to show off their skill by selecting them in April once the draft is officially underway.

As previously mentioned, the Vikings don’t appear to be officially set on parting ways with Diggs this offseason, but if they do, here’s a 7-round mock draft over the potential scenario in which Minnesota finds a potential replacement for the wideout.
