Minnesota Vikings replace Stefon Diggs in latest 7-round 2020 mock draft
By Dan Parzych
Finding reliable players this late in the draft can be difficult sometimes, but if Tyler Clark still happens to be available in the seventh round after the kind of career the defensive tackle put together at Georgia, this would almost seem too easy of a decision for Minnesota.
Since 2016, Clark found all sorts of ways to come up big for the Bulldogs on the defensive side of the football, and if he unfortunately fails to get selected in the draft, someone will easily sign him as an undrafted free agent.
Some football fans will try to make the case there’s no way Clark falls this late in the draft, and will be well off the board by the final round, but for now, it only seems fair to play out this scenario.
Minnesota playing in the same division as the Packers along with a Chicago Bears team that could very well bounce back as a serious contender in 2020 means the Vikings are going to need to be on top of their game on the defensive side of the football.
After watching Clark in action over the last four years at Georgia, one can only imagine what kind of rookie campaign he is going to be in for, especially if his stock rises in the months leading up to the draft.
