NFL Free Agency 2020: Best landing spot for top 20 players

The Marcus Mariota experience essentially ended for the Tennessee Titans after he was benched following a 16-0 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 6 last season, a defeat which dropped Tennessee to 2-4.
Ryan Tannehill took over, the Titans went 7-3 the rest of the way and posted road wins at New England and Baltimore to reach the AFC Championship before falling to the eventual Super Bowl champion Chiefs.
So what’s next for the former Heisman Trophy winner who was taken No. 2 overall by Tennessee out of Oregon in 2015?
According to ESPN’s Mel Kiper earlier this month, the Las Vegas Raiders could be a destination should coach Jon Gruden look to move on from Derek Carr.
In seven games, including six starts, last season, Mariota threw for 1,203 yards and seven touchdowns with two interceptions, completing a career-low 59.4 percent. He also ran for 129 yards, running his career total to 1,399 yards with 11 touchdowns.
Mariota’s second NFL season in 2016 remains his best when he threw for 3,426 yards and 26 touchdowns for a passer rating of 95.6 — all career highs. His nine interceptions in 15 starts, a 2.0 percent rate, was also the lowest of his career for a full season.
It’s been a long fall for Mariota, who was No. 50 on NFL Network’s NFL Top 100 just three years ago. In 2017, he led four game-winning drives while getting the Titans to the playoffs for the first time since 2008.
