Raiders general manager Mike Mayock noted that Las Vegas needs to get better at wide receiver and these 10 targets in free agency and the draft would help.

Ahead of the move to Las Vegas, the Raiders enjoyed quite a bit more success in the 2019 season, their final year in Oakland, than many expected them to. With rookie running back Josh Jacobs and breakout tight end Darren Waller leading the charger, Jon Gruden’s club went 7-9 on the year and had a shot at making the playoffs until the very end of the season.

For a team that was projected by many to finish at the bottom of the AFC West and be in contention for a top five pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Gruden reminded everyone that he’s a quality head coach. Furthermore, this team showed that they have a bright future as they head to Sin City, even if it’s unclear in some areas — specifically with Derek Carr and the defense, the latter of which has plenty of holes.

Having said that, Gruden and general manager Mike Mayock have maintained that they’ll stick with Carr for the 2020 season to this point. Additionally, when speaking at the NFL Combine this week, per NFL.com, Mayock noted that the Raiders “need to get better” at wide receiver as the Antonio Brown debacle left a hole in their group of pass-catchers.

Looking back at the 2019 season, that’s quite obvious. Waller led pass-catchers by a mile with 90 receptions on 117 targets, good for 1,145 yards. Second on the team was Tyrell Williams but he had only 42 catches for 651 yards. Rookie Hunter Renfrow emerged as a viable slot threat with 49 catches for 605 yards as well. However, no other wide receiver on the roster had more than 150 yards for the season.

Owners of the No. 12 and 19 picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, in addition to three third-round picks, and with just over $50 million in cap space to use in free agency, per Over the Cap, the Raiders are in a position to make the upgrades they need at wide receiver. But who could they be looking at to fill the void?

Here are 10 wide receivers available in the NFL Draft and free agency during the 2020 offseason that the Las Vegas Raiders could use on their roster.
