The Jacksonville Jaguars are tearing it down just in time to collect picks for the 2020 NFL Draft and these prospects should be in their crosshairs.

In 2017, Doug Marrone coached Blake Bortles and the Jacksonville Jaguars to an AFC Championship Game appearance against the New England Patriots. That time seems like a distant memory with the latest moves by the Jaguars brass, however. All but one of the key players on that AFC Championship defense, that unit being the catalyst far more than Bortles, is gone.

The latest subtraction saw A.J. Bouye traded to the Denver Broncos for a fourth-round pick in 2020 NFL Draft. Now that Tom Coughlin is out, Dave Caldwell and Marrone are tearing it down just in time for the 2020 NFL Draft.

This draft is loaded with talent at positions where they need the most help, like corner and receiver for example. Calais Campbell isn’t getting any younger, so the interior defensive line is another need.

With so many changes, the Jags are in the position to draft the best player available. Well here are seven players who’ll fit what Doug Marone likes to do.

7. Harrison Hand, CB, Temple

The 2020 NFL Draft is loaded at the cornerback position some of the corners at the top such as Kristian Fulton and C.J. Henderson will be available for the Jaguars in the first round, where Jacksonville owns the No. 9 and 20 picks.

However, thanks to the depth of the class, the Jaguars could take one early and grab another one in the later rounds. Temple’s Harrison Hand is an ideal fit for defensive coordinator Todd Walsh’s style of play.  Hand has great length standing at 5-11 with 31.75-inch arms and solid size at 197 pounds with room to grow.

Hand is a man press corner who’ll excel in a zone heavy scheme. He has enough hip fluidity and acceleration to play deep passes. He’s solid against the run, showing tenacity and thump. He can move to safety if he doesn’t pan out at corner, making him a solid value pick on Day 3.
