2. Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama

The Jaguars need another explosive playmaker outside to help alleviate the pressure off D.J. Chark and who can be more consistent than Dede Westbrook and the other receivers on the roster. Gardner Minshew‘s success is predicated on the weapons around him and with a power running game; having a guy who can blow the top off defenses can’t hurt.

There’s only one player in the 2020 NFL Draft who can claim to be the fastest man: Henry Ruggs III. How often do you see a player run a sub-4.3-second 40-yard dash but leaves disappointed? Never. Ruggs was, however, and it’s a testament to his competitive nature which also shows up in his play.

The former Alabama wideout isn’t a track guy playing football he’s a football player with track speed. Once he gets the ball in his hands, he’s not afraid of getting physical. He doesn’t waste a lot of time trying to wiggle away from tackles; he’ll put his head down and fight for extra yards.

Ruggs can win at every level starting with short underneath routes where he’s able to separate with acceleration. He can, of course, blow the top off a defense and he brings added value in the return game. The question: Could the Bama speedster fall to them at No. 20?
