1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

No one knows what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ ultimate course of action is at quarterback. With Jameis Winston’s rookie contract done, it seems unlikely they bring him back after one of the most rollercoaster seasons in NFL history, highlighted by the first 30-touchdown, 30-interception season in league history.

While there have been plenty of rumors that the Bucs could move on from Winston and possibly pursue the likes of Tom Brady, Philip Rivers or even Teddy Bridgewater in free agency, they could also look to the 2020 NFL Draft. And Justin Herbert would be a great fit in the Bruce Arians offense in Tampa Bay.

While Herbert had great offensive line play at Oregon, his receiving weapons were largely pedestrian. That would change in Tampa Bay, however, as the Buccaneers boast arguably the best receiving duo in the NFL with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Not to mention, the Bucs could also re-sign Breshad Perriman and still have tight end O.J. Howard, giving Herbert even more weapons to work with.

Arians loves the deep passing game and Herbert has the arm and downfield accuracy that are necessary to thrive in that type of system. While he didn’t get the opportunity to showcase it much at Oregon, he could come to Tampa Bay and be put in phenomenal shape to light up the box score, and likely do so with far fewer interceptions than the Buccaneers had to endure with Winston at the helm.
