Dallas Cowboys: Logan Ryan

Assuming the Tennessee Titans decide to let Logan Ryan walk in free agency, it seems like only a matter of time before the cornerback finds himself a new home for the 2020 season since he’s considered one of the best in the business for a reason.

Thanks to his previous success with the New England Patriots, the Titans felt signing Ryan to a three-year deal in 2017 was an easy decision, and one can only imagine how different the defense would have been over the last couple of seasons without him.

Plenty can still happen once free agency does officially get underway, but with some reports already indicating that Tennessee doesn’t plan on re-signing Ryan, now becomes the fun part of seeing which team the cornerback could end up on.

Depending on what happens with the Dallas Cowboys and Amari Cooper since Dak Prescott almost seems like a lock to return, it will be interesting to see what kind of money could be available to spend on someone like Ryan.

To say the pressure will be on the Cowboys for 2020 to return to the playoffs after last season would be a huge understatement since the team was in perfect position to win the NFC East before the Philadelphia Eagles swooped in, and finished on top.

Dallas’s offense is already loaded with plenty of talent to work with, and while the defense displayed a few impressive performances throughout 2019, the addition of a playmaker like Ryan could help the team take things to new levels.
