NFL Free Agency 2020: One player each team should sign

Atlanta Falcons: Jadeveon Clowney
Football fans can say whatever they want about Jadeveon Clowney in regards to some of his dirty hits, but from a talent perspective, the defender certainly brings a lot to the table on the defensive side of the football.
Prior to the start of last season, the Seattle Seahawks knew they had nothing to lose by acquiring the former top overall pick from the Houston Texans to provide another weapon for the defense to work with.
Throughout the 2019 season, there were numerous times in which Clowney stood out on defense for the Seahawks, but the argument can be made he didn’t make as big of an impact as Seattle was hoping for.
Seeing how Clowney only finished the regular season with three sacks after previously earning three Pro Bowl honors in a row prior to 2019, it’s easy to understand why Seattle could be willing to move on from him after only one season.
One of the main reasons why Clowney was so unhappy staying in Houston was due to the team unwilling to pay him the long-term money he was hoping to receive.
At the right price, Clowney could be a great fit for the Atlanta Falcons on defense and put the team in position to end their two-year playoff drought, especially since Dan Quinn will continue to be on the hot seat.
