Carolina Panthers: Michael Brockers

Michael Brockers has spent all eight years of his NFL career playing for the Los Angeles Rams (St. Louis as well), but whether the veteran defender will be back for a ninth season with the team remains a mystery.

Unfortunately, there’s a popular saying how all good things must come to an end at some point, and if the Rams decide to go younger on defense, Brockers could be in search of finding a new team.

For the second year in a row this past season, the Carolina Panthers appeared to be a lock for at least a Wild Card spot in the NFC before things quickly fell apart in the final two months of action, which is part of the reason why Ron Rivera was fired early on in December.

Now that Matt Rhule is on board as the new head coach, if his previous time with Temple and Baylor is any indication of what 2020 could have in store, the Panthers should be able to turn things around in no time, that is assuming the team takes advantage of the offseason.

With the experience Brockers could bring to the defense, the veteran’s presence could help put the unit in better shape, and help Carolina avoid another collapse in 2020 like the previous two seasons.
