If the Carolina Panthers end up trading Cam Newton this offseason, there are numerous teams the former MVP could end up on.

Earlier in the offseason, the Carolina Panthers made it seem like they were ready to give it another go with Cam Newton during the 2020 season, despite the former MVP only appearing in two games last year due to a foot injury.

However, it appears this may no longer be the case after Tuesday’s news broke that Carolina is allowing Newton to seek a trade, meaning it only seems fair to discuss the potential landing spots.

Football fans can say whatever they want about Newton’s play being on the decline over the last couple of years, but chances are there will be a few teams in need of help at quarterback, whether it happens to be as a starter or backup.

Even though plenty of moves are still expected to take place in free agency in regards to the teams in need of help at the quarterback position, it will still be interesting to see which teams actually end up reaching out to the Panthers about Newton just to see what it would take.

This time of year in the NFL always tends to be exciting when seeing all of the surprise moves, and based on Newton’s response to the trade report, this situation just became even more interesting to follow.
