Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 7-Round mock draft following Tom Brady signing
By Randy Gurzi
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made a splash by signing Tom Brady and now they look to load up around him in this 7-Round 2020 NFL Mock Draft
The rumors about Tom Brady joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were starting to heat up as soon as it became clear he wasn’t returning to the New England Patriots. Still, it wasn’t easy to picture this actually happening.
Then again, it wasn’t easy picturing him leaving New England. Brady had been with them since 2000 after they took him as a sixth-round pick out of Michigan. All he did since then was win 219 games and lead the team to six Super Bowl wins — the most ever by one quarterback.
No player was more synonymous with a team than Brady was with the Patriots, but that didn’t keep him there for his 21st NFL season. Now, the soon-to-be 43-year-old will team up with Bruce Arians as the Bucs look to make a move in the NFC. And they have some of the key pieces needed to make such a run.
Brady will arguably have the best weapons of his career as he now has Mike Evans and Chris Godwin at wide receiver as well as O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate at tight end. They even got a spark from Ronald Jones last season, who seemed to turn the corner at running back.
However, the team still has some holes to fill if they want to make the most of Brady being their signal-caller. Here, we look to do exactly that for them as we predict what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will do in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft with this 7-round mock draft.
