1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers expected to pull off one of the biggest surprises of the offseason in signing Tom Brady, would anyone be surprised if the team found a way to add Gurley to the mix as well?

After all of the recent years spent coming up short of earning a trip to the playoffs, the Buccaneers are all of a sudden a popular pick for the Super Bowl in 2020 as a result of Brady teaming up with Bruce Arians and company.

Nothing is set in stone obviously since Brady still needs to actually sign, and prove he can make this work in Tampa Bay, but with all of the weapons the future Hall of Famer will be fortunate enough to work with, it’s tough not to view the Buccaneers as a popular pick.

However, if Tampa Bay truly wants to be considered one of the most dangerous teams to beat in the NFC next season, there’s no question the backfield could use some sort of improvement, and Gurley could end up being the perfect answer now that he is available.

As previously mentioned, chances are Gurley would prefer to join a team with a legitimate chance to earn a trip to the Super Bowl, and his release couldn’t have come at a more perfect time with the latest news surrounding Brady heading to Tampa Bay.

Plus, if Gurley were to stick around the NFC, the running back would be in better position to get revenge on the Rams if he were to somehow face them in the playoffs, which is always a fun factor to consider.
