Some unexpected blockbuster NFL trades have taken place this offseason but more could come and these five massive trades would only make things wilder.

This offseason has already been crazy with an unusually high number of NFL trades already taking place. While there are deals made every offseason, there are usually never as many as we have seen this time.

Some were expected trades as most of us knew Nick Foles was going to be going elsewhere. Maybe we didn’t pick Chicago, but there was a chance he was going to be playing for a different team in 2020.

Darius Slay was another expected trade as the Detroit Lions were looking to move on from him, and made no secret of that. Some even predicted he would land with the cornerback-needy Philadelphia Eagles.

In addition to those trades, some wildly unexpected ones also took place. No one saw DeAndre Hopkins leaving the Houston Texans but suddenly Bill O’Brien made the most questionable move in recent memory. Later, Stefon Diggs was also sent packing as the Minnesota Vikings traded him to the Buffalo Bills.

Another one from left field was the trade between the Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers. The Colts were desperate for defensive line help and sent the 13th overall pick to San Francisco for DeForest Buckner.

Those ones that were unexpected made things more exciting for sure, and added a little bit of crazy to the start of the new league year. And hopefully, we aren’t done — which is why we are about to look at 5 massive NFL trades that could make 2020 even crazier than it already has been.
