The Green Bay Packers have already made two key signings in 2020 NFL free agency. Here are five realistic free agent targets that are still available.

The Green Bay Packers made two key additions already in NFL free agency, inking linebacker Christian Kirksey and right tackle Rick Wagner each to two-year contracts. But with such little cap space left to spend, who are some realistic free agents still on the market for the Packers to acquire?

The Packers have roughly $12 million in available cap space at the moment, according to Spotrac, though it’s worth noting that Green Bay will need to save around $10 million to sign their draft picks after the NFL Draft in April. In all actuality, the Packers have about $2 million in spendable cap space as of March 20.

That said, the team can always restructure deals of players currently under contract, along with releasing players who may be cap casualties. For instance, guard Lane Taylor is due $6 million in 2020, but the Packers can save $4.6 million in cap space by cutting him. Doing so would only carry a dead cap hit of $1.4 million.

Most of the big names have already been signed off the free-agent market, but a few intriguing bargains still remain. The likes of Robby Anderson and Breshad Perriman make sense for the Packers at a position of need, but at what cost?

Signing a receiver likely means the end of the Packers’ spending spree in 2020 NFL free agency, but doing so would solidify the position heading into April’s draft. Additionally, it would allow Green Bay to be much more flexible with who they draft.

The Packers can’t afford to be big spenders, but there are still a few players left who fit their bill. With that in mind, here are five realistic free agent signings the Packers could still make.
