2. JK Dobbins, RB, Ohio State

After the Rams released Todd Gurley, rumors began circulating that the former first-round pick piqued the Tampa Bay Buccaneers interest. However, they made the smart move by not signing Gurley.

If the Bucs want an elite talent at running back they have multiple options. Tampa can wait until Day 3 because the draft is deep enough, take one in the third round or they could take a player with an elite skill-set in the second round.

Enter former Ohio State running back, JK Dobbins who is ready-made to be featured in the modern-day NFL. He was a dominant force for the Buckeyes, finishing the 2019 season in record fashion by rushing for more than 2,000 yards. He is a gap runner with great vision, patience and burst to hit the hole. He has good quickness and knows how to make guys miss.

Dobbins squares up and looks to punish defenders; using his 5-9, 209-pound frame to his advantage,. He has potential as a blocker on third downs and showed he has naturally soft hands. Dobbins will likely be available in the second round if he isn’t D’Andre Swift or Cam Akers are not bad options. Either way, the Bucs should have their sights set on a workhorse back.
