Oluwole Betiku Jr. is a fascinating prospect. A former 5-star recruit for USC, he barely saw the field in three years with the Trojans before transferring as a graduate student to Illinois. In one season with Lovie Smith, however, he thrived with nine sacks and 13 tackles for loss.

Still relatively new to football and highly inexperienced, Betiku has an elite physical profile that could make coaches interested in development salivate. And though the Packers have a nice rotation on the edge, depth is never a bad thing, especially when they have the upside of Betiku.

Aaron Jones enjoyed a breakout season with the Packers in 2019 as he led the league in touchdowns. Meanwhile, Jamaal Williams has been a nice complement to Jones in the backfield. But there’s still a need for more depth.

Joshua Kelley isn’t going to wow anyone with quickness or long speed but he has a compact and powerful frame that makes him difficult to bring down. He could be a slight change-of-pace player to give some more power to the Green Bay rushing attack.

While some places will have Calvin Throckmorton listed as an offensive tackle, his relative lack of length will likely make him a guard at the next level, which he did play some at Oregon. He’s not a great mover or athlete but he plays with nice strength and has an extremely quality feel for the game and playing in the trenches. That makes him worth an add as depth for the Packers offensive line.

From just a couple of years ago, Trey Adams‘ draft stock has plummeted. Injuries have become a major concern and, as a result of his physical ailments, his already modest athleticism has been dampened further.

At the same time, however, the Packers could use some depth at tackle and Adams has plenty of experience coming out of Washington. If he can stay healthy and Green Bay can coach him on how to perform with his healed body, he could be nice depth value in Round 7.
