The first wave of free agency shook up some draft needs and it changes how things look in this 2020 NFL Mock Draft with projected trades

The football world was on fire as soon as the legal tampering period opened up. Between Monday, March 16 and Wednesday, March 18 there were several deals agreed upon and the moves continued to come even after that. And as always, these free-agent signings will shake things up as the NFL Draft approaches.

Some of the biggest changes as we dive into our latest 2020 NFL Mock Draft come courtesy of the moves at quarterback around the league. Philip Rivers signed with the Indianapolis Colts, Tom Brady landed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (which still sounds weird), and Teddy Bridgewater is in Carolina.

All three of those teams were expected to draft signal-callers, but that’s no longer a guarantee. As for the Colts, it’s pretty much a certainty even as they also traded their first-round pick to acquire DeForest Buckner from the San Francisco 49ers.

Another team that made a splash and traded their day one pick was the Buffalo Bills, who were expected to land a receiver. They still did so as they ended up with Stefon Diggs from the Minnesota Vikings, but that wasn’t exactly expected.

With all that dust settling, we look ahead to the 2020 NFL Draft, but we want the trades to keep happening. With that being said, we now predict how the first three rounds of the draft will play out while also predicting a couple of deals that could happen.
