Scouting Report. LSU. Justin Jefferson. 21. player. Pick Analysis. WR. 54

The Philadelphia Eagles were an up and down team last season but still managed to win the NFC East. That says a lot about them as they showed incredible resiliency. At one point, they seemed dead in the water as they were behind the Dallas Cowboys by a couple of games and then started losing players.

By the end of the season, they even toyed with the idea that they might have to put 40-year-old backup quarterback Josh McCown into the game as a wide receiver. It never came to that but the fact that it was discussed during a game shows how bad things were getting.

Then in the playoffs, they lost starting quarterback Carson Wentz to a concussion and McCown was unable to lead them to a win — although he deserved a medal for how hard he fought for his team. ANd McCown might have had a better shot at winning in his first-ever playoff appearance had the Eagles been able to give him more weapons at receiver.

With that being the case, they decide to fix the problem now as they add Justin Jefferson from LSU. He was unstoppable down the stretch for the Tigers and did a lot to help them win the National Championship. Now he looks to become Wentz’ No. 1 target, which he will likely be from the moment he arrives.
