The Packers need another big-play threat in their offense. Davante Adams is one of the league’s best receivers, but even he can’t do everything himself. Green Bay would be smart to take a receiver at pick No. 30, even with how deep the class is at the position.

Arizona State’s Brandon Aiyuk is a perfect candidate for the Packers in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Aiyuk has all the tools to be a successful receiver in the NFL and would immediately step in as an impact player in Green Bay’s offense.

The Packers have plenty of physical, big-bodied players at the receiver position at the moment. What they need is a quick-twitched player capable of breaking tackles and making plays after the catch. Aiyuk would provide the team with a shiftier threat. He was selected as an AP Third-team All-American “All-Purpose Player” in 2019. Over his career, Aiuyk generated 2,750 scrimmage yards and 12 touchdowns on just 153 career touches (17.9 yards per touch).

Aiyuk greatly impressed at the NFL Scouting Combine in February, running a 4.50-second 40-yard dash, jumping 40 inches in the vertical leap and measuring in with a wingspan of 80 inches despite standing just 6-0 tall.
