3. Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU

Similarly to Brandon Aiyuk, TCU’s Jalen Reagor is a fast-twitched receiver who has the ability to take it the distance whenever he touches the ball. Reagor is one of the most explosive receivers in the 2020 NFL Draft.

At the NFL Scouting Combine, Reagor displayed a disappointing time in the 40-yard dash (considering the expectations), running the drill in 4.47 seconds. His broad jump (11-6) and vertical leap (42 inches) more than made up for that. Unfortunately, his 7.31-second time (among the worst at his position) in the 3-cone drill was the biggest takeaway, though.

Combine aside, Reagor looked plenty of good on tape, which is what scouts and general managers will judge most. At TCU, Reagor didn’t have outstanding production, but his film is littered with explosive plays. Part of the reason he didn’t rack up a ton of stats was due to his situation at quarterback.

In 2019, Reagor finished with just 43 catches for 611 yards and five touchdowns. When taking a closer look, though, a huge reason Reagor was held back was due to his quarterback. True freshman Max Duggan certainly had his moments but, for the most part, was a huge reason the TCU offense struggled.
