4. Detroit Lions

Should 2020 be considered a make or break year for Kerryon Johnson when seeing how the previous two seasons played out for the Detroit Lions running back?

When healthy, Johnson has shown all sorts of potential to one day be considered a top running back in the NFL, but unfortunately the staying healthy part is the biggest concern heading into the 2020 season.

The fact that Johnson has only appeared in 18 games during his first two NFL seasons shows why there is some concern by the Lions, and as much as the team wants to continue giving him more chances, they also have to do what is best.

In other words, if Detroit is in great position to select Swift in the draft for extra insurance, and provide Johnson with some competition for the honors of top running back, the Lions have nothing to lose.

Not to mention, if Johnson can manage to stay healthy, the potential duo with Swift would only give more firepower to the Lions’ offense, which they could desperately use.

With the way the NFC North is shaping out to be for 2020, Detroit will need all of the extra help possible on both sides of the football just to have a fighting chance.
