Green Bay Packers stockpile offensive talent in 7-round 2020 mock draft

The Green Bay Packers put a lot of pf talent around Aaron Rodgers in this 7-round mock draft as they look to improve upon a successful 2019 campaign
Last season, the Green Bay Packers were a 13-3 team which normally gets a franchise a lot of praise. That’s even more true when they do so with a rookie head coach — which they had as Matt LaFleur was replacing Mike McCarthy, who was fired near the end of the 2018 campaign.
LaFleur, who rose to prominence as a quarterback coach, spent the prior year as the offensive coordinator with the Tennessee Titans and had a lot to deal with when he first arrived. He was challenged publicly on some of his practice techniques by Aaron Rodgers, which led to questions on whether or not he could handle the future Hall of Fame quarterback who has never shied away from speaking his mind.
It didn’t take long to see there was no issue. The two were able to lead an efficient offense, even if they weren’t elite. In fact, the offense was roughly middle of the pack according to NFL.com, which led to a belief that this 13-win club wasn’t as good as their record suggested.
The truth was, they were a smart offense that did just enough to win games while allowing their top-10 defense to do its job. The real issue was, fans weren’t used to this as they expected an offensive explosion with Rodgers and LaFleur working together.
With all that being said, we look ahead to the 2020 NFL Draft with this 7-round mock draft where we try and add enough offensive talent around Rodgers for him and LaFleur to become more explosive.
