There will be plenty of teams expressing interest in wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. during the 2020 NFL Draft.

Whether it happens to be in the first or second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, all that matters for Laviska Shenault Jr. is the Colorado standout will eventually be helping a team fill their need at wide receiver.

While Shenault’s numbers (56 catches for 764 yards and four touchdowns) in 2019 with the Buffaloes certainly don’t stick out like some of the other receivers from this year’s draft class, this isn’t going to keep teams in need of help at wideout from expressing interest.

If anything, when looking at how some of the other top receivers such as Jerry Jeudy and CeeDee Lamb are expected to go early on in the first round, this could put other teams in great position to land Shenault later in the round or even early on in the second.

Thanks to his size and physical style of play, it seems like only a matter of time before Shenault works his way into becoming an elite wide receiver at the NFL level, and could even be one of the rookies who makes an impact right away in 2020.

Just like every other player entering the draft, there are no guarantees that Shenault will go on to have a successful NFL career, but the potential is high enough for teams to take a risk early on in the first two days.
