Laviska Shenault Jr.: 5 Best landing spots in 2020 NFL Draft
By Dan Parzych
3. Philadelphia Eagles
Watching the Philadelphia Eagles win the NFC East title last season despite basically playing with practice squad members at wide receiver during the final stretch was truly incredible to witness.
But if the Eagles believe this approach will work again in 2020, they are going to receive a major wake-up call, and possibly end up watching the playoffs from home for the first time in four years.
On a positive note, at least this shouldn’t be the case for Philadelphia as long as key players like DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery return to full strength, although these two veterans may not be enough to make life easier for Carson Wentz under center.
Not to mention, with both Jackson and Jeffery getting up there in age, the Eagles are expected to bring on help at wide receiver through the draft in April to put the receiving corps in better shape for the future.
Philadelphia knows the pressure will continue to be on heading into the 2020 season when looking at all of the previous success from the last three years, and even if the Eagles needed to be patient with Shenault joining a crowded group of receivers, this would still seem worth it.
