The Dallas Cowboys lost Robert Quinn in free agency but can still find a replacement as these three players are still available to sign.

This offseason has actually been a really good one for the Dallas Cowboys. Sure, there can be some complaints considering they have yet to lock up Dak Prescott long-term and they did lose Byron Jones and Robert Quinn in free agency, but outside of that, most of their moves have made the roster better.

Not only did they keep Amari Cooper in town, but they also finally added a solid starting safety in Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. Dallas had avoided the safety position for years, so seeing them make this a priority was a positive sign.

Also a great sign was how focused they were on fixing the interior of their defensive line. For years under defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli, Dallas tried to plug these holes with lesser-known talent and they acted like a nose tackle didn’t matter.

Now with Mike Nolan coaching the defense under new head coach Mike McCarthy, they made this a priority again. The Cowboys signed two big names in Geral McCoy and Dontari Poe, who also signed very team-friendly deals given their pedigree.

Having said that, there’s still an opening on the defensive line. Dallas has yet to replace Quinn and while they do like Dorrance Armstrong and though Tyrone Crawford is healthy again, that’s not going to be enough. The draft could be an option but this staff doesn’t like to force their own hand in the draft by entering it with a glaring need.

In order to avoid doing this here, they should go back to the open market and land someone who can start for them, if needed. Here are three names they should consider for that role who are still available in free agency.
