The first wave of 2020 NFL free agency is in the rearview but plenty of talented players and some big names remain available. Predicting where they’ll sign.

Over the past few days, what was a furious beginning and first two weeks of 2020 NFL free agency has calmed down a bit. And the start of free agency has done anything but disappoint with Tom Brady set to play for the Buccaneers, Byron Jones heading to the Dolphins, Amari Cooper, Ryan Tannehill, Arik Armstead and many more staying put, Jack Conklin going to the Browns and much more.

But for all of the big names that have already signed and even for all the not-so-big names that have also inked new deals, the book on free agency in the 2020 offseason has not completely been written just yet. There are still many players who can have a positive impact on the right team that wants and/or needs them on the roster.

So who are the best free agents left on the market in the 2020 offseason? And more importantly, where are these players going to sign? Let’s predict the landing spot for the 20 best players still available in NFL free agency.

1. Jadeveon Clowney, EDGE

There’s a good chance that the reason Jadeveon Clowney is unsigned after two weeks of free agency, despite being one of the five best players available this offseason, is due to the limitations presented by the COVID-19 outbreak. Given his injury history, teams want to get physicals and meetings with these players and, with the current situation in the United States, that’s not entirely possible with Clowney right now.

On top of that, Clowney’s production has rarely — if ever — matched his raw physical talent. His lone season in Seattle was a testament to that. Subsequently, his market might be suppressed a bit. But at the end of the day, it’s hard for me to understand why the Titans, a team that had buzz about wanting Clowney, would trade Jurrell Casey for only a seventh-round pick if they weren’t making room for the former No. 1 overall pick.

Where he’ll sign: Tennessee Titans

2. Cam Newton, QB

Cam Newton‘s departure, either via trade or release, from the Panthers always seemed inevitable and, sure enough, it’s happened as Carolina cut the former NFL MVP last week. Now coming off of foot surgery to fix an injury that limited him to just two games last season, another former No. 1 overall pick is on the market. And like Clowney, the limitations with physicals could slow down Newton being signed.

At the same time, I don’t buy the Patriots believing that Jarrett Stidham can replace the loss of Tom Brady in the 2020 season. That’s especially true when you consider how shrewd of a businessman Bill Belichick has been throughout his career. New England could wait for the draft for the quarterback market to die down and then get Newton on a budget deal to be their starter.
