Las Vegas Raiders: 5 Top targets with No. 12 pick in 2020 NFL Draft
By Dan Parzych
This year’s wide receiver class rightfully has all sorts of high expectations, and while Ruggs will certainly be a tempting pick to consider, the Raiders are also in great shape to potentially land the wideout’s teammate, Jerry Jeudy.
In comparison, the argument can be made that Jeudy has the advantage of over Ruggs potential wise in the NFL, and his numbers over the previous two seasons at Alabama will support this case.
Not only did Jeudy manage to catch 145 passes for 2,478 yards in 28 games, but the Crimson Tide star also found the end zone 24 times as well to show how much of a threat he can be in the passing game.
When looking at the current situation at wide receiver for the Raiders, Jeudy would have the opportunity to become the No. 1 option right away for Carr to work with if this turned out to be the direction Las Vegas took during the draft.
Between his impressive route running along with the ability to be effective in the slot, there’s a reason why Jeudy basically seems like a guarantee to go in the top 15, and having the No. 12 pick puts Las Vegas in great position for this potential option.
