4. Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens are typically not the type of organization to trade up in the draft. In fact, in the 2018 NFL draft, the Ravens traded down twice before ultimately trading back into the first round to select their MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson.

However, they are now in a situation where they need to capitalize on Jackson’s rookie contract and provide him elite talent with which to work.

The Ravens have the necessary capital to move up from their No. 28 overall pick in the first round, as they have multiple selections in Rounds 2, 3 and 4. While Baltimore could assuredly use added depth along the offensive line and linebacking core, I believe they will be more inclined to trade up for an elite prospect to capitalize on their Super Bowl window.

One position I can see the Ravens trading up for is wide receiver, as they only have one wideout on the roster who accumulated more than 350 receiving yards last season.

If they are satisfied with the receiver depth in this class, they may instead look to grab one of the top offensive linemen, as standout guard Marshal Yanda‘s retirement has created a need at that position. Either way, the Ravens are likely to be aggressive as they go all-in for a title next season.
