The New England Patriots are one of several teams to land a new quarterback of the future in this 3-round 2020 NFL Mock Draft

The landscape of the entire NFL has changed recently. One of the biggest names the sport has ever had changed teams this offseason as Tom Brady left the New England Patriots and joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after winning six Super Bowls in 20 seasons with the Pats.

It’s not often a player spends that long in the NFL and when someone wins rings as often as Brady has, they usually can stay as long as they want. And even though he will be 43-years old this season, Brady has still been playing at a high level and should be an improvement for the Bucs who have moved on from Jameis Winston — the No. 1 overall pick in 2015.

Brady’s departure wasn’t the only big move under center though. Philip Rivers also found a new home as he left the Los Angeles Chargers to join the Indianapolis Colts. Nick Foles, the Super Bowl MVP for the Eagles in 2017, was traded from the Jacksonville Jaguars to the Chicago Bears and Teddy Bridgewater went from being the backup in New Orleans to taking Cam Newton‘s job with the Carolina Panthers.

With all the dust settling from the quarterback musical chairs, we now have a better idea of which teams need new signal-callers. Fortunately for them, the 2020 NFL Draft is full of solid choices that can either start right away or even some that might need time to develop but have a high ceiling.

All that being said, we dive into our new 2020 NFL Mock Draft and find homes for those quarterbacks and more throughout the first three rounds.
