The Buccaneers have new uniforms arriving for 2020 as Tom Brady officially makes his way to Tampa Bay to help usher in a completely new era.

Chances are, the Buccaneers were planning to change their uniforms before they ever realized they had a realistic chance of signing quarterback Tom Brady in free agency. But now that they’ve secured the six-time Super Bowl champion, it’s fitting that Tampa Bay is ready to unveil a new look for the 2020 season.

There had been much speculation about what the Buccaneers new uniforms would look like. Given the widespread love for their throwback creamsicle jerseys, many hoped that would be incorporated into the new look for Tampa Bay. For others, anything but what the Bucs had been working with would’ve been accepted with loving, open arms.

On Tuesday, the moment finally came as the new Buccaneers uniforms were revealed on their social media. You can check out the reveal video and photos of the new jerseys for Tampa Bay below:

As mentioned, just about any change was necessary for the Bucs uniforms after what they’d been working with. The numbering and the font — in addition to an oddly patterned color scheme — often had Tampa Bay’s previous uniforms down near the bottom of rankings of the league’s jerseys. This move will certainly vault them up those types of lists.

The new look for the Bucs is incredibly clean. The numbers look phenomenal, as does the simplification of the rest of the jerseys. And the three-way colors of the jerseys look great as well — the all-pewter look might actually be my favorite. The only complaint, as of now, would be that there’s no creamsicle orange look for the Buccaneers new uniforms.

Perhaps more than anything, however, it’s fitting that the Buccaneers will look like a new team as they have completely changed their fortunes. With Brady joining a core of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Ronald Jones and O.J. Howard on offense and Shaquil Barrett and Devin White on defense, this Tampa Bay club will be eyeing a Super Bowl in the 2020 season. And now they’ll look good doing it too.
