Scouting Report. Bravvion Roy. 6. 860. Pick Analysis. Defensive Tackle. Baylor. player

After bringing back some veterans on the defensive line, the Broncos are fine up front but need to address the position long term. If they can inject some youth into that position group, it would be to the benefit of the franchise.

Bravvion Roy is a sleeper in the 2020 NFL Draft class who can have an impact. He’s a big man who can stuff the run from the nose tackle spot but he can also rush the passer. Roy will likely be a pure nose tackle at the next level but has good value as a sixth-round pick. If the Broncos want to ensure their future in the trenches, taking Roy would be to their benefit.

Josiah Scott. 7. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Cornerback. Michigan State. 805

Bryce Callahan is a fine slot cornerback when on the field but he struggled with injuries last season. As such, the Broncos need a contingency plan to add depth to the secondary.

Josiah Scott is among the most underrated players in the 2020 NFL Draft class, largely because he’s exclusively a slot corner. However, the talent is there for the 21-year-old as he’s shown great acceleration and movement skills.

The Michigan State product, given his size constraints, has been pushed around by bigger, physical wide receivers so the slot will be his home. However, he provides quality depth and a player who could see the field immediately in sub-packages and find success.

7. player. 45. Ball State. Pick Analysis. Offensive Tackle. Danny Pinter. Scouting Report

I’m actually a believer in the Broncos offensive line, contrary to what many others think about this group. Ja’Wuan James is a solid offensive tackle who will be back in the fold after missing last season once Denver signed him to a big-money deal.

Opposite James, Garett Bolles has been a solid player, more so than he gets credit for due to his propensity for penalties and early-career lapses. But even with a solid pair of tackles, the Broncos wouldn’t be hurting to add depth at the position.

Danny Pinter made a recent move offensive tackle but he has shown some nice skills for just starting at the position. He has some nice movement skills with great balance to his game as well. Pinter is a nice developmental tackle/guard who one day could end up being a solid pass protector in the NFL.
