Las Vegas Raiders switch it up in first round of 7-round 2020 mock draft

With their fourth-round pick, the Las Vegas Raiders add a talented linebacker in Joe Bachie, Jr. He’s a middle linebacker who isn’t great in the passing game but he can blow the ball carrier up in the run game. He’s smart and instinctive but he does come in with some red flags.
He failed a PED test, which is something that will give some GMs pause during the draft process. It also explains why he falls until the fourth-round even though his talent suggests he should go slightly earlier than this.
During his four seasons with the Spartans, he had 285 tackles, seven sacks, and five interceptions. His nose for the ball will help him get on the field early in his career.
The Raider’s final pick in this draft comes in the fifth round, and in this mock, they use that to select Florida running back Lamical Perine. The position isn’t one of great need for Las Vegas as Josh Jacobs held the job down and topped the 1,000-yard mark as a rookie for them.
However, the depth behind Jacobs could use some new talent. Perine comes in with little wear on his legs as he was never the full-time back for the Gators.
He did show he has enough talent to make it in the NFL though and was especially impressive during the Senior Bowl.
