2020 NFL Draft: 10 Prospects destined to be fantasy football studs
2. Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama
As if Lamb was enough to excite pass-happy offensive coordinators ahead of the 2020 NFL Draft, Jerry Jeudy offers similar upside. Considering his potential to immediately emerge as a No. 1 receiver, the former Alabama star could quickly light up the fantasy world.
Over the last two seasons, Jeudy has been a supernova among a loaded Crimson Tide receiving unit. In those two years, he’s hauled in 145 passes for 2,478 yards and 24 touchdowns. Those are ridiculous numbers, even when you’re playing catch with a top-flight quarterback like Tagovailoa.
Put simply, Jeudy is the complete package. On top of elite ball skills, he’s got terrific speed, runs great routes and has a knack for finding the hole in the defense. He can make plays from the outside or out of the slot, and is more than capable of dominating defenders at the point of the catch. Again, he’s the complete package.
More than likely, we’ll see Jeudy get drafted somewhere in the Top 10. While wide receivers aren’t as valuable in fantasy football as running backs, this particular playmaker will find himself on plenty of fantasy teams regardless of the situation he lands in.
