5. J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ohio State

If you’re looking back at last season, it’s easy to understand why J.K. Dobbins is on this list. A key piece of Ohio State’s run towards a Final Four selection, the electric running back is the definition of stuffing the stat sheet.

Here’s what you need to know: in 2019, Dobbins racked up over 2,000 rushing yards and a whopping 21 touchdowns on the ground. He also brought in 23 passes for 247 yards and another two scores. He averaged 6.7 yards per carry, and was simply unstoppable when he got going. The Buckeyes owed a huge part of their success last season to his relentless efforts on the ground.

Expect more of the same from him at the next level. Right now, it’s looking like he’ll get drafted on Day 2. Depending on where he ends up, that could lead to plenty of touches and trips to the end zone. The good thing for Dobbins is that he’ll be ready to capitalize on those opportunities when they finally arise.

Tie in his rushing abilities with his potential as a receiver, and you’ve got a possible fantasy freak. Dobbins may not dominate in the NFL the way he did at Ohio State, but he should put plenty of fantasy points on the board in the right situation.
