2. Cleveland Browns uniforms
One of the more storied franchises in the NFL, the Cleveland Browns have always had a similar look. They’re sleek, clean, and without a lot of bells and whistles — for instance, their logo is a freaking helmet.
That all changed in 2015 when they unveiled a new uniform, which fans were stoked about. Wanting a change, fans were greeted with some of the worst uniforms in the history of the NFL. They had block lettering and the word ‘Cleveland’ down the side of the leg that infuriated fans.
From the moment these were released, the fans started clamoring for their old look back — the same one they wanted gone in the first place. Now ahead of the 2020 season, they got their wish. After months of teases, the team released their new/old look and said they were paying “homage to the past.”

Unsurprisingly, they were well-received. And it was also brilliant by the owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam. Just think about it, after fans said they didn’t like the uniforms, they released a terrible one that made fans think simply going back to what they used to wear was a genius move. Now, people will buy these throwbacks in droves — which is funny because they really have been available for a long time.
Cleveland did add something cool though as they are giving proceed to the “Hats Off to Heroes” Foundation which supports those on the frontlines during this COVID-19 crisis. For that, they should be applauded.
As for the reason they don’t come in first even though fans are in love with them, they still dropped the ball as there are no orange pants available. Fans love this look and hopefully, there’s another trick up their sleeve — or maybe two because an all orange color rush would be sweet as well.
