Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. Alabama. 5. player. Tua Tagovailoa. 59

Yes, there is growing buzz that Tua Tagovailoa could fall down in the first round, which would then mean that the Dolphins would likely target a player like Justin Herbert. For me, I don’t buy it. Tua has been Miami’s guy for so long and the player they have been planning to start the rebuild with. So that’s the case here. And lucky for the Fins, they don’t have to trade either No. 18 or 26 to get their franchise quarterback.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. Oregon. 6. player. Justin Herbert. 13

While I don’t buy Herbert being the QB2 in this NFL Mock Draft, I do buy him going right behind Tagovailoa. The Chargers don’t seem to have a confident long-term plan at quarterback right now after their offseason decisions. However, bringing Herbert into the mix to be surrounded by a roster that has been further beefed up and seems ready to compete could be a great situation for the Oregon product to thrive in.

53. Pick Analysis. Tristan Wirfs. 7. player. Scouting Report. OT. Iowa

TRADE ALERT: Browns trade No. 10, 74 and 115 to Panthers for No. 7 and 152

It’s no secret that the Cleveland Browns need offensive line help. And while they do have other needs, the roster is in position to compete right now. That’s why they’re aggressive here in trading up from No. 10 with the Panthers and get the right guy to block for Baker Mayfield and Nick Chubb. Tristan Wirfs is the ideal athlete and mover to compete in this offense and make them substantially better.

32. Scouting Report. Louisville. 8. player. Pick Analysis. OT. Mekhi Becton

After trading for DeAndre Hopkins in one of the coups of the offseason, the Arizona Cardinals largely appear to be in a position to compete around Kyler Murray. However, they need help on the defensive and offensive lines to make that happen. For me, it’s all about offense in the desert, which is why Mekhi Becton is the obvious pick. The freak athlete on the edge of the O-line is enormous in size and talent and could vault Arizona into making the NFC West more interesting.
