2020 NFL Mock Draft: Packers trade back, Browns and Eagles move up
(Pick via Philadelphia)
There’s no question that the Falcons need to address their secondary in the 2020 NFL Draft. But for my money, they still need to get some more pop and burst in the trenches on defense. Neville Gallimore is very much the right prospect to give Atlanta that. The Oklahoma product is an absolute athlete at 300 pounds and could help to create some real disruption on the interior alongside Grady Jarrett.

Cornerbacks selected in the first round of the NFL Draft and the Minnesota Vikings go together better than peanut butter and jelly. But after this offseason, it makes a ton of sense for the Vikes to address the position with a player like Auburn’s Noah Igbinoghene. The former Tiger is a player I really like from a tools perspective and, while he could use some development, that’s the Minnesota way to let him work behind the scenes early on.
Could the Patriots make a move at quarterback? Most certainly. Do I think they do that? Nope. This feels like a situation where they’re going to land a veteran like Dalton or Cam Newton after the draft. That allows them to take a player like A.J. Epenesa. While people are concerned about his athleticism, his length and strength could be valuable if used right. You trust New England to do that and allow the former Hawkeye to thrive.
The New Orleans Saints need to see some things at linebacker improve right now. While they have veterans who have performed well, what they don’t have is long-term stability or an elite playmaker with his best days ahead of him. Bringing in Kenneth Murray at No. 24 changes that. The former Sooners star has terrific speed to close in and make the tackle and has the length and athleticism to be a great coverage player. He’s the stud the Saints could sorely use.
