Here’s another edition of the 2020 NFL Mock Draft, only with a twist featuring unexpected picks.

Rightfully so, just about every 2020 NFL Mock Draft has the Cincinnati Bengals selecting Joe Burrow or Chase Young with the top overall pick since both prospects are considered two of the best from this year’s class for a reason.

However, one of the most exciting parts about this time of year is all of the surprises that take place in the draft, and while it obviously is a long shot every team will take this approach, there is no harm in having a little fun in exploring this possibility.

When looking at all of the teams looking to potentially upgrade early on in the first round at quarterback, it’s safe to say most teams such as the Detroit Lions or Miami Dolphins would love the opportunity select Burrow if the Bengals decided to take a different approach.

Without question, the same can be said about Young since the Ohio State product has established a reputation over the previous two seasons as one of the top defenders in the country, and will easily be selected in the top five once the draft gets underway.

But once again, if the Bengals, Washington Redskins or even the Detroit Lions decided to take a surprise approach early on in the first round, there will be plenty of teams looking to jump on the opportunity to land Young, because the potential is through the roof.

Once again, this specific mock draft is dedicated to the idea of teams pulling off unexpected moves in the first round, whether they seem like absolute long shots or not.
