Days away from the start of the 2020 NFL Draft, here’s what the Chicago Bears could do as we dive into the final 7-round 2020 mock draft with trades.

The 2020 NFL Draft is almost upon us. With not much else going on in sports (except for the Chicago Bulls documentary) Chicago Bears fans cannot wait for the show to begin. Without anything else happening, all eyes will be on the draft, even if it is a virtual show.

Fans are eagerly awaiting to see what moves general manager Ryan Pace makes. He’s bound to make waves in the draft. He’s made trades in every draft since coming to Chicago and this season should be no different. He has no first, third or fourth-round picks. Expect him to trade into the third or fourth (or both). He has two picks in the second round so he probably trades one of them.

Pace will surprise many fans. Many feel that the offensive line is a big priority but with the signing of two offensive linemen, I think it isn’t a big priority for Pace. He’ll likely take someone late just to have more depth. That probably upsets fans again. The fan base feels the offensive line is horrible and thinks the Bears should draft seven linemen! If it doesn’t happen then Pace doesn’t know what he’s doing.

It is nice seeing Pace acknowledging some of his mistakes and correcting them. Leonard Floyd wasn’t getting the job done and Pace replaced him. Trey Burton struggled mightily after surgery so Pace cut his losses and cut him. He went from saying Mitchell Trubisky would be the starter to being okay with a quarterback competition. Don’t be surprised if Trubisky is part of a trade (yes that is my hot take for the draft).

Before we see what surprises Pace has for Bears Nation, let’s unveil our final Chicago Bears mock draft for 2020.
